A pyrethroid is an organic compound similar to the natural pyrethrins , which are produced by the flowers of pyrethrums ( Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium and C. coccineum ). Pyrethroids are used as commercial and household insecticides .

Mode of Action:
Ingestion and direct contact. Shastra acts on nerve membranes by delaying the closing of the activation gate for the sodium ion, paralyzing the insect nervous system giving a quick knockdown effect.
Targets: House fly
Dosage/pack size: Residual Surface Spray - 10ml of Shastra 2.5 F/1 Liter of water to cover 10 to 20 sqm area.Bed Net Impregnation - 1ml Shastra per square meter of net area. Frequency: Once in 3 months depending on the infestation level.
